Our Unique Approach

Texas Victory Christian Academy is an outreach ministry of Victory Christian Church, located at 7504 West Seventh Street on a beautiful 12-acre country campus in Texarkana, Texas.

We are raising up students to pursue academic excellence, strong moral character, and future leadership. Our micro-school model — with enrollment intentionally limited to just 24 students in grades 7–12 — ensures that every student is known, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Using the celebrated Acellus Gold Curriculum, our degreed and vetted-background teachers deliver a self-paced, personalized, and accelerated college or career preparatory program in a structured campus environment. Classes meet Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, keeping students focused and families confident.

We believe that children are gifts from God and not government.

Therefore, we accept the responsibility for their education and training in order to equip them with the life skills needed in order to function in life and succeed. We take heed to the scriptural mandate as stated in Deuteronomy 6:4-7 “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! 5) You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. 6) “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7) You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up”.

Carl Teel

Superintendent

Christian educator Carl Teel established the former Liberty-Eylau Christian School in 1984 and served as Superintendent for 23 years, guiding hundreds of students through that tenure. He holds a Master’s degree from Texas A&M University-Texarkana, a Bachelor’s degree from Dallas Christian College, and five certifications from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Superintendent Teel founded Texas Victory Christian Academy out of a calling to build something uniquely designed for today’s student — college/career prep focused, faith-centered, and built for excellence.

Principal

Principal Carra Crittenden brings energy, vision, and a deep commitment to students to the leadership of Texas Victory Christian Academy. Missy Teel

Office Manager/Teacher Aid

Missy Teel serves as Office Manager and Teacher’s Aide at Texas Victory Christian Academy, bringing a diverse background of professional excellence and Christ-centered ministry. Before answering a call to serve, she worked in the corporate sector managing stocks and bonds for a major investment firm. She later became Director of a Food Bank and feeding program in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, ministering to her community with compassion and generosity. Since relocating to Texarkana in 2004, Missy has labored alongside her husband, Superintendent Carl Teel, as a devoted wife and Kingdom co-laborer. Her life reflects Colossians 3:23 — “Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men.”
